How do Cave Master fights begin?

Enter the cave named after the master, approach the enemy inside and interact to start the encounter. Read the suggested level at the entrance before committing. These are optional battles; finding an entrance and winning its fight are different milestones.

Before you challenge the next master

1. Save and restore HP and MP before entering the encounter.
2. Check the entrance’s level guidance and compare it with your current preparation.
3. Verify that your active party still has its recovery and defensive options after Vision changes.
4. Inspect the enemy’s actual resistances during the fight; this location table does not supply invented weaknesses.
5. Record victory after the reward screen, not after discovering the cave.
