Which answers change a character’s stats?

Party conversations can award a different bonus depending on the reply. The comparison below covers eight scenes from Rain’s opening choice through Archwitch Fina’s research-center conversation. Match the character, chapter and scene before using an answer cue.

These conversations are different from the questions at Vision sanctums. The acquisition references describe the sanctum conversations as non-blocking; they do not supply the same party stat rewards.

Use the comparison in front of the actual dialogue

  1. Pick the matching character in the scene filter.
  2. Confirm the progress checkpoint and subject of the conversation.
  3. Match the paraphrased cue to the actual reply on screen.
  4. Compare the reward to your intended use of the character, then choose.

A larger HP number is not directly comparable to a smaller stat number, and a warm-sounding answer is not automatically the most useful bonus. Keep a pre-scene save if you want to compare the outcome yourself.

Which values are unresolved?

For Nichol’s strategy-advice reply, RPG Site and Portal do Pixel report +30 HP, while the previously reviewed Game8 reference gives +10 HP. The comparison therefore says “HP bonus: amount disputed” rather than silently selecting a number. His Magic and Speed options are recorded separately.

Some references also place Lid’s scene under different chapter or location labels. The subject—the conversation about her brother—and the start-of-chapter-3 sequence are more useful identifiers than an uncorroborated dock name. The table uses that scene description.

Can these choices lock trophies or rewrite the story?

Do not infer either claim from a stat table. A missed optional conversation, a stat reward and a trophy condition are separate questions. Likewise, a trophy roadmap reporting no missable trophies does not prove every optional dialogue stays available forever.

For a party member’s optional personal quest, use Characters & substories. For the next required destination, use the chapter walkthrough. Those are different tasks from choosing the bonus in the current conversation.
