Follow the Enterprise pursuit and the Invincible boarding sequence. Lid’s preceding encounter with Evan is part of the story progression and is not a separate ordinary boss victory to grind for. Let its scene advance instead of spending rare items trying to force a permanent knockout.
References describe the final experiments with inconsistent numbered names. This guide therefore identifies the current selected target and its affinity rather than promising that a copied experiment number always matches your screen.
What is Lazarov weak to?
Use Earth on Lazarov. Lid provides Earth commands, but his summoned experiments require their own element checks. The related Hunger creation is vulnerable to Light; the dedicated encounter reference also identifies Water and Wind targets among his other experiments.
Prepare those elements before boarding so a changed target does not leave the whole party using ineffective attacks. Recovery must remain available while Lazarov’s own behavior changes.
Handle each summon deliberately
- Start by working on Lazarov with Earth while watching his protection and current target list.
- When an experiment appears, inspect its identity and affinity rather than carrying the same command queue forward.
- Defeat the added threat with its effective element, then return pressure to Lazarov.
- Reassess after his self-injection changes his defenses and offense.
- Watch for Revenge Blast as the boss weakens and keep recovery or an achievable Stagger ready.
Do not confuse a protected opening with the earlier permanently scripted Ignis meetings. Lazarov’s encounter progresses through its conditions; its guard is not a reason to abandon the real fight.
Before recording the chapter complete
Finish every remaining experiment and Lazarov’s victory transition. One summon’s defeat is not the chapter result. Complete the capital’s closing conversations and inspect the Enterprise outside town.
The chapter-4 walkthrough then connects the next Mysidia objective. The Camille quest later returns to Lazarov’s history through a separate investigation and does not need to be completed before finding Mysidia.
