Use Lightning damage and equip Charm prevention before starting. Tronn supplies Thunder, while Monk’s Prayer Beads and Leah’s Nullify Charm are preparation options identified in the encounter reference. Check equipped effects and available commands; owning an accessory in the bag does not activate it.
Siren’s Tower is the main-story destination after Grandport’s sailing problem. Complete that objective rather than searching for a separate optional summoning quest.
Before the upper portal
- Check every active character’s Charm protection. The reference identifies Prayer Beads sold in Grandport and another set in a tower chest.
- Assign Lightning access to characters who will work on the Stagger gauge.
- Keep healing and revival available alongside those attacks.
- Restore resources at the upper save point, then enter the portal for the encounter.
Do not assume every hero’s native commands contain Lightning. Open each command list after equipping the Vision or learning the required ability.
Respond to the battle
Use Lightning to pressure the Stagger gauge. Keep track of the turn order while building that opening; a large neutral hit is not automatically the best way to stop the next dangerous action.
Allure is the major Charm threat identified in the Siren reference. A timely stagger can interrupt it, while equipped prevention protects against losing control if it resolves. When a stagger creates the opening, spend the available bonus actions on damage and finish with Resonance.
If the attempt fails because allies attack one another, inspect protection before simply grinding levels. If it fails with unused healing commands, reserve recovery earlier in the order. Change the failed condition you observed rather than repeating the identical setup.
What happens after victory?
Siren becomes your first Esper. The following Fina dialogue has its own stat rewards; it does not select whether Siren joins. Return to the Grandport story objective to continue the chapter transition.
