Aileen: Forger of Wills & Crafting

Where do you start Forger of Wills?

Speak to the Gossiping Girl in Dilmagia after airship access, then find Aileen at Dilmagia Shipyard. The acquisition references place this in chapter 5. Her quest unlocks Aileen as a Breaker Vision; the weapon service has further airship checks.

The route above names the three informants. In Kol, look near the chocobo ranch; in Rebel Hideout, check by the crates. Finish gathering the accounts before returning to the shipyard conversation.

Which answers should you give Aileen?

Choose these responses in order:

1. It’s a tool of harm.
2. A way to rebel against troubling times.
3. Craft weapons that suit each of us well.

After the concluding conversation, confirm the Aileen Vision and Magicite reward. Recruiting her and commissioning a weapon are separate objectives.

Why will Aileen not craft on the airship?

Check the service on the Enterprise deck, with an Adamantite in your inventory, after completing her quest. Each commissioned weapon uses one Adamantite. The eight ore sources are listed in the collectibles guide.

If she still wants to observe the party in battle, check story and Vision progress. Atma’s system guide places the service in chapter 6 after her evaluation. Gamer Social Club instead specifies equipping her Vision and raising its Mastery Rank to 9. These conditions have not been reconciled through independent game testing, so chapter 6 alone is not presented here as a guaranteed unlock, nor is rank 9 asserted as a universal requirement.

Use her actual dialogue to identify the unresolved step. Revisit her with the ore after the evaluation/progression rather than assuming that obtaining the Vision immediately enables forging.

Is forging the same as restoring a Legendary Arm?

No. Aileen’s service consumes Adamantite for a character’s commissioned weapon. Legendary Arms require an Ancient component and a Chamber of Arms trial. Their trophy objectives and completion steps are separate.

The first commissioned weapon and commissioning for all eight party members are also separate checklist goals. Confirm the weapon result before recording either.
