Win Fledgling Battle 5 at Grandshelt Colosseum to obtain the Gaia Hammer, then use it on the Sealing Stone west of Kol. The Colosseum becomes available during chapter 4. Inspect the stone with the hammer available and select the option to smash it; this opens Titan’s trial.
Choose the correct league and battle number. Arriving at the right stone before claiming the hammer does not complete the prerequisite. The hammer is the access item here; generic weapon upgrades do not substitute for it.
What is Titan weak to?
Bring Wind attacks and avoid Earth damage: Titan is weak to Wind and immune to Earth. Confirm the relevant command on the character who will use it before triggering the fight. The Vision directory can help with acquisitions, while combat preparation explains the Stagger and action-order systems.
An elemental advantage does not mean you can ignore healing. Titan can focus on a low-HP character, so restore that character before another hit turns the problem into a revival.
How should you respond to his stances?
Titan uses defensive stances that reduce the damage you can deal. During those windows, continue working toward Stagger instead of spending every major damage option against his raised defenses. Watch for the stance relaxing and the next dangerous action on the timeline.
The encounter reference identifies Fist of Ferocity and Pulverize as devastating attacks. Prepare a break before the queued attack resolves when possible. Earth protection is useful against his Earth attacks; it is a defensive choice, while Wind remains your offensive element.
This is a response plan based on the documented mechanics, rather than a guaranteed turn-by-turn script. Party speed, difficulty and the available commands affect how many actions fit before the danger arrives.
How do you confirm Titan has joined?
Win the trial and check the resulting summon unlock. Breaking the stone only starts the battle; owning the Gaia Hammer alone does not mean Titan is recruited.
After obtaining Titan, continue with the other Esper routes. If you are preparing Bahamut’s unlock, count Titan among the other eight only after the battle reward has been awarded.
