Rain: A New Leaf Quest Guide

When can you start A New Leaf?

Start after finishing chapter 7. The final-chapter opening gives you access to Raegen on the Enterprise deck. Rain joining the party at the beginning of the game does not start this optional quest.

What to check before leaving the airship

Speak to Raegen and confirm A New Leaf is active in your quest log. Keep the quest selected while following the route below. The route is a return trip through earlier areas; it is separate from the next Crystal Tower story objective.

If you only want the next main-story destination, use the chapter-8 walkthrough. If you want Rain’s personal reward, finish the deck conversation after the Waterfall Way scene.

Is the reward a dialogue-choice bonus?

No. This quest grants a Knight’s Medallion and a permanent attribute bonus for Rain. It is separate from his early Earth Shrine dialogue choice. A choice recorded earlier is not evidence that A New Leaf has been completed.

The guide intentionally leaves the exact attribute amounts out: currently published tables disagree on the Strength and Stamina split. The route and named accessory are the supported information here.

Confirm the ending of the quest

Return to the deck after the marked visit at Waterfall Way. Check both the quest-completion message and the accessory in your inventory. Only then count Rain’s substory toward Conscience Renewed in the trophy checklist.
