Charlotte: The Shield of the Weak

Where does Charlotte’s quest start?

Speak to Charlotte at Grandport Harbor in chapter 7 to begin The Shield of the Weak. Investigate Grandshelt Castle, follow the two quest encounters and report to her outside Grandshelt Castle to obtain the Charlotte Vision and Magicite Cryst.

The starting harbor and final castle entrance are different destinations. Use the current objective rather than returning to the opening location automatically.

What are the three castle clues?

Complete two marked NPC conversations and one marked shelf inspection in Grandshelt Castle. Talking to everyone you notice does not replace interacting with the shelf. Check all three before leaving for Kolobos Ruins.

The next step is the marked ruins objective and its battle. Afterwards, continue to Mother at Cavern of Swords, where another encounter follows. Both locations appear in the step diagram; finish the active quest objective at each before returning to Charlotte.

Where do you claim the Charlotte Vision?

Speak to Charlotte in front of Grandshelt Castle after the Cavern of Swords sequence. Confirm the quest reward before treating the acquisition as complete. Clearing a battle is only one part of this investigation.

Charlotte appears in the 26-Vision directory as a Sentinel. She is an equippable combat option, separate from the eight recruitable party characters.

How should you use the reward?

Inspect Charlotte’s available commands and passives in Equipment & Abilities, then check the AP cost of the setup you want. The role filter helps identify defensive options; it does not establish that every Sentinel supplies the same protection at every awakening level.

For a difficult encounter, identify the missing defensive function first, then compare the commands actually unlocked. The combat guide explains preparation and the timeline; the trophy checklist tracks acquisition separately from awakening or mastery.
