What is Dark Fina weak to?

Use Water or Light; Dark is resisted. This chapter-5 battle occurs during the second visit to Fina’s Psyche, before Tellus. The immediate preparation problem is healing: Fina is unavailable, so move recovery to a character who can actually act in the encounter.

If you are still stopped by the sealed gate, follow the first-visit and Tower of Mysidia sequence before preparing for this battle.

Build a working recovery option

Before advancing through the memory route, inspect the commands on each available character. A healing Vision such as Leah gives another party member a recovery role; equip it and confirm that the healing command can be selected.

Keep enough MP or recovery items for the route as well as the boss. A plan that assumes Fina can cast her usual healing spells breaks as soon as she leaves the active party.

Nichol offers Water and Sakura can supply Light. Those are useful roles, not a requirement to copy one unverified optimal lineup. Check your actual unlocked abilities and spread recovery and damage duties across available characters.

What does Paradise Lost change?

Paradise Lost temporarily strengthens Dark and reduces other elemental damage. It does not turn Dark into a new weakness. Continue to respect Dark Fina’s Water and Light affinities instead of switching to Dark because the field effect mentions it.

Use this window to reassess HP, MP and the next enemy action. Spending an action on recovery can be more useful than forcing another weakened attack into a party already close to defeat.

How do you respond to Dystopia?

Stagger can cancel Dystopia, the devastating party-wide Dark attack. Watch the warning and available action order. If the gauge is nearly broken, use the commands that can finish the Stagger before the attack resolves.

If the interruption is out of reach, preserve recovery and prepare for the incoming damage. Do not rely on a promised turn number: current party speed, actions and fight state matter. Treat Doom or other active ailments as an additional problem to resolve, rather than assuming a normal HP heal removes them.

Before continuing to Tellus

Confirm the victory transition before recording progress. The next required fight is Tellus, whose Wind weakness calls for a different elemental option. Check commands again instead of carrying Water and Light into the next encounter by habit.

After both fights and the remaining scenes, return to Sakura’s house to advance the chapter. The memory-world route page covers that order and later return access for collection cleanup.
