Weapons Factory Bridge & Ignis Route
Lower all three Weapons Factory bridge sections, solve the conveyor and rotating-walkway routes, and distinguish the scripted Ignis fights from the final battle.
- 01
Entrance & first Ignis scene
Let the scripted confrontation finish. Save in the main room and identify the three missing sections of the central bridge.
- 02
Left route · wall ladders
Use the local switches to connect the left walkways, descend to the next control, then climb the wall ladders. Reach the large pedestal and lower the shortcut ladder.
- 03
Right route · conveyor belts
Ride the conveyors through the side section to its large pedestal. Activate it, then return to the entrance and check the bridge.
- 04
Upper route · rotating intersections
Climb near the entrance save point. Rotate the three intersections until their visible ends form a continuous route to the rear large pedestal.
- 05
Generator · final Ignis fight
Cross after all three bridge sections are down. Another scripted scene precedes Lasswell removing the barrier and the winnable encounter.
Chapter-4 factory progression, the three route controls and the transition into the real Ignis fight. The illustration shows objective order, not a measured floor plan.

Activate the large pedestal at the end of each of the three side routes. Small switches move local walkways; the three large controls lower sections of the broad bridge toward the generator. Reaching a chest or rotating an intersection does not replace activating its final pedestal.
Enter after Jake’s Rebel Hideout plan and the overnight story scenes. The opening confrontation with Ignis is scripted. Once it ends, save in the main room before exploring the machinery.
Left route: switches and wall ladders
Take the ramp left of the entrance and use its control. Descend to the next switch, then work back toward the wall ladders. Climb to the upper path and operate the next control to reach the large pedestal. Activate it and lower the nearby shortcut ladder before returning.
The useful checkpoint is the bridge section moving, rather than collecting an item along the way. If you return to the entrance without that change, retrace the side route to its large control.
Right route: conveyor belts
Follow the conveyor route east of the entrance. Work through the belts to the large pedestal in the rear part of this section, activate it and return. Inspect the central bridge so you can distinguish the completed route from the remaining gaps.
Upper route: the rotating walkways
Climb the tall ladder near the save point. Three small controls rotate separate intersections. Trace the connected walkway from your current position toward the large control at the back.
Move one intersection, then inspect its visible ends before changing the next. If you explored treasure branches first, your layout has already changed; a sequence of button counts written for an untouched room will no longer start in the same state. Join the visible segments instead.
Optional branches contain Magicite, Hoodwink Garb and a Tablet Shard. After taking a detour, return to the route toward the large pedestal rather than assuming the item completed the mechanism.
When can you beat Ignis?
Refresh the party before crossing the finished central bridge. The next confrontation is also scripted; the winnable third fight starts after Lasswell removes the barrier. Prepare Water attacks and recovery for that battle. The Ignis fight guide explains fury and Stagger separately from the machinery.
After winning, return to the Rebel Hideout and speak to Jake in his room to advance the castle infiltration. Wilhelm’s later Vision quest revisits the factory, but it has its own Camille prerequisite and Foxie hand-in.
