Necromonarch counters magic that hits its elemental weakness. Fire and Light are effective elements, but a Fire or Light spell can trigger the response. Prefer suitable physical elemental commands when your learned loadout supports them. Earth is resisted.
The Gronoa cave recommends level 55. Rain’s equipped Fire techniques are one possible physical route; inspect the actual command description rather than assume every Fire attack has the same type.
Build a plan around command type
- Assign physical Fire or Light offense, a protected healer and a backup recovery action.
- Apply physical protection and watch the target of Paralysis Fang.
- Reduce the gauge with the chosen physical commands. Do not insert a weakness spell into the queue merely because it displays the right element.
- Try to interrupt the devastating warning. If it lands, restore the disabled ally through an unaffected character before relying on their next action.
What if your party only has weakness magic?
Treat the counter as a cost that must be survived, or leave and rebuild the formation with a suitable physical option. There is no verified promise here that enough spell damage will skip the reaction.
Necromonarch also heals itself with Rejuvenate, so passive survival without a consistent damage plan can lose progress. Maintain pressure after stabilization, but do not confuse HP recovery with curing Paralysis or Blind. Compare Humbaba’s separate low-HP and ailment plan before the next Gronoa cave.
