What is the best farming target in Final Fantasy Resonance?

Use Metal Gigantuar for EXP, Gigantuar for MRP and King Gil Snapper for gil once their regions are safely available. Their reviewed base rewards are 150,000 EXP, 600 MRP and 28,000 gil respectively. Earlier chapters should use the lower member of the same family rather than forcing a dangerous late route.

The target is only half of the answer. The battle result adds a separate bonus for taking no damage, finishing during Stagger or landing an Overkill. Pick the resource first, then build the last turn around its matching condition.

Which target should you use by progress?

Progress EXP target MRP target Gil target
Early regions Metal Minituar in Dirnado Minituar in Grandshelt Mini Gil Snapper in Olderion
Mid-game regions Metal Cactuar in Mysidia Cactuar in Dirnado, Gronoa or Zoldaad Gil Snapper in Mysidia
Late regions Metal Gigantuar in Pharm or Crystal Tower Gigantuar in Gronoa or Pharm King Gil Snapper in Pharm

These are region-level recommendations, not fabricated map coordinates. Published guides distinguish ordinary random encounters from fixed high-rate zones, and one popular Cactuar route requires airship access even though the enemy family can appear earlier elsewhere.

How do you kill metal enemies before they escape?

Metal Minituar, Metal Cactuar and Metal Gigantuar have tiny HP pools, high evasion and broad elemental resistance. Prioritize reliable hit count over one large number: multi-hit actions, Double Action or Double Cast setups are the recurring source recommendation. Stagger removes evasion for the regular Minituar family, but metal targets are a different EXP-focused branch.

Do not copy an Expert-difficulty HP value into a Normal route. The reviewed database lists different enemy HP by difficulty, while the published EXP and gil values remain the same. If your result screen differs, record the difficulty and any equipment or bonus before assuming the base table is wrong.

How do you maximize MRP per battle?

Equip a Vision on every character who needs Mastery Rank before starting the loop. Current MRP guidance reports that joined party members receive the battle’s MRP even when not in the active four, while guests do not. MRP belongs to the character and Vision pairing, so excess points after MR 9 do not transfer to another Vision.

Use a Stagger Finish for the ×1.3 result bonus. Expert difficulty is reported to multiply MRP by ×1.5. The Mastery Pendant doubles MRP for its wearer; Victoria’s MR 7 MRP Gain +50% is an alternative, not an additional stacking multiplier. The Pendant is tied to the upgraded treasure-radar route, so follow the three-part radar guide rather than searching a made-up shop location.

When should you stop farming?

Stop when the next useful unlock is funded. For a Vision build, check the exact cumulative MRP threshold and AP cost in the Vision database before grinding every Vision to maximum. For a boss, compare the encounter’s element, counter and ailment response first; a corrected loadout can be more valuable than several extra levels.

The planner below keeps all nine target rows in the initial page HTML. Use its filters while playing; filtering does not hide the data from search or Pagefind.

Route accuracy: the table names regions and access phases, not invented map pins. Published reports disagree on how early one fixed Cactuar zone is reachable; the airship-only route is therefore kept separate from earlier random encounters.
