How do you reach Beast of Ruin?

Beast of Ruin is Champion Battle 3 in Grandshelt’s Colosseum. Clear the Gladiator League, register with the Colosseum Master, and complete Champion Battles 1 and 2 first. Its listed recommended level is 90; that is preparation guidance, not a guarantee of victory or a locked minimum level.

The Colosseum roadmap explains the earlier fights and rewards. In particular, the first Champion reward can help protect the character responsible for recovery.

What makes Fire useful and Ice dangerous?

The Beast is weak to Fire and absorbs Ice. Build useful Fire commands before the duel and remove habitual Ice follow-ups from your planned sequence. Rain and suitably learned Vision commands can supply physical Fire, while a caster can provide Fire magic when the current state permits it.

Physical and magic attacks provoke different counters. Do not assume that changing attack type removes retaliation altogether. Fewer efficient actions give your recovery plan a better chance than many weak filler attacks.

What should you do when Reflect appears?

Remove Reflect before ordinary offensive magic, or use a physical Fire option. Dispel or a suitable learned buff-removal command can reopen casting. Check that the effect has actually gone before repeating a spell queue.

Reflect is an additional state to answer; it does not change the underlying Ice absorption. Switching to an Ice weapon attack to avoid reflected magic still uses the wrong element.

A repeatable battle plan

  1. Prepare Paralysis prevention on the support role and have a second ally able to cure or revive. Jeweled Rings are one relevant ordinary protection option; inspect your available equipment.
  2. Begin building the gauge with useful Fire actions while leaving recovery after counters.
  3. Reassess Reflect whenever it appears. Restore essential buffs if the Beast removes them.
  4. Prioritize a reachable Stagger before Meteor or Ruthless Rampage.
  5. During the damage opening, heal before Stagger ends. Its traits explicitly warn of a powerful response on recovery from Stagger.

No exact HP breakpoint or counter-move mapping is assumed here. The response is to read the active warning and preserve the action that prevents the next collapse.

Is its armour reward safe to equip immediately?

The first clear awards Lorica Apocalyptica. Its offensive benefit comes with recurring HP loss, so read that trade-off before putting it on an already fragile attacker. The prize is a build choice, not automatic proof that your next formation is stronger.

Next comes Shinryu, whose Water absorption and level-dependent counter require a different preparation. Champion League clears are separate from the three league trophies on the published PS5 checklist.
