Chapter 7: Pharm: Aether Rematch to Wandering Lands

Is Sid a different encounter from Aether?

The chapter-7 airship confrontation involves Aether, whose story identity is Sid. The walkthrough’s person-name lead and the combat reference’s boss name should not become two duplicate battle guides. The Aether page covers the early Wind Shrine fight and this later rematch separately.

Begin by searching aboard the Enterprise after the Dark Crystal disappears. Approach the Pharm phenomenon and let the confrontation and following scenes establish Sian as the next destination.

Get the Sian objective before searching the mountain

Talk to Ayaka during the town investigation. Her account identifies the floating battlefield and the mountain route, but the tornado prevents flying directly into it. Leave Sian and follow the overland path through Mt. Reizan.

Ayaka’s optional Vision quest is a separate interaction and route. You do not need to finish its ley lines and Infernal Hollow battle to advance the main chapter. The Wandering Lands route explains the required mountain, lake and forest order.

Refresh your plan between the three rematches

These are later versions. Do not bring the first fight’s HP or scripted opening forward as if it described the rematch. Follow the objective and location label after the mountain exit; the world-map route is identified as Lake Ryusei.

Finish Wandering Lands

At the end of Forest Path, choose Proceed to enter the next area. There is no extra key for that prompt. Continue across the floating battlefield and finish the Raegen scenes before approaching Umbra.

Light remains useful against Umbra, but his counters make the attacker’s HP and protection part of the plan. Restore at the save point and keep an available healer. Complete the scenes after the battle to establish the Crystal Tower destination.

The Mt. Reizan Resonance Stone is a radar upgrade detour. Collecting it and returning to Lid for installation can help hidden-treasure cleanup, but it is not a key to the floating battlefield.
